A Legacy of Empowerment and Community

The Davis Education Foundation's journey is deeply intertwined with the story of 72,000 students, 8,000 teachers, and 90 schools in the Davis School District. Our roots go back to 1982, when a group of passionate individuals came together with a common purpose: to improve and enrich the educational experience in Davis County.

Early on, our focus was on simple yet impactful projects, like gathering books for classroom libraries, collecting instruments for music programs, and partnering with local businesses to equip Mountain High's first computer lab. These efforts laid the groundwork for a future where education would thrive through community support and innovation.

As the Davis School District grew, so did the Davis Education Foundation. We expanded our reach, creating new initiatives to support students and teachers. From classroom grants to technology upgrades, our mission has always been about breaking down barriers to learning and creating opportunities for every student.

What makes our story unique is the enduring support from our community. Parents, business leaders, and local organizations have joined us in our mission, recognizing that education is the cornerstone of a vibrant society. Together, we've celebrated achievements, overcome challenges, and worked tirelessly to ensure that every student has the tools they need to succeed.

Today, the Davis Education Foundation continues to grow, fueled by the belief that education is a shared responsibility. We are grateful for the partnerships we've built and the lives we've touched. Our story is far from over—in fact, it's just beginning.
